So, I apologise for my lack of posts recently. I have neglected my promise to myself to keep up frequent posts. However I have been rather busy, I have been to London and worked A LOT. I have three deadlines this week, why do they all come at once?!
In other exciting news I have become a guest contributor with  Fashion Global, read my article here.
Here are some photo's from my trip to London to visit my cute cousin Sian:

Artwork in Brick Lane, us pre- Whisky Mist, Christmas lights in Oxford Circus, Sian eating the plant in Vapianos because she couldn't afford a meal (please send donations), a cute co-ord in Topshop that I am regretting not buying now.

I really need to set my camera up, I know these mirror photos are actually terrible. To be fair my camera is not much better anyway, and it doesn't help that my room at uni is devoid of light. This is what I wore when my boyfriend came to visit, we went to a basketball game (Newcastle Eagles) and for drinks which was funny, he actually won the claw machine which no one thought was possible. I had never been to a basketball game before, nor do I like sport (seems a bit silly that I went doesn't it) but the tickets were £7.50 so I thought why not. It was actually an interesting experience, I much prefer it to football, however I don't think I liked it for the right reasons, my favourite bits were getting a hotdog and watching the coach get angry.
Anyway, clothes wise, I'm really loving these cold shoulder tops at the moment, they are £12 in topshop so I got one in black and one in white on student shopping night, click here to see what else I bought!

p.s. how much do I look like I need a wee in the second photo, woops.

This is not the most interesting outfit, and yes I do realise the photos are terrible and my mirror needs cleaning. However, I haven't done a post in a while so I thought I would pop this one on. Getting back to uni has meant facing the fact that I have a 9,000 word dissertation to do this year (my face in the above photos reflects how I feel about this). Alongside the dissertation I'm also looking for jobs and career options for when I graduate, and travelling to see my boyfriend at weekends as we now live in different places. So all in all I really feel like I have a lot to get on with and think about, I am going to try to keep up the blogging though because I do love doing it and don't want to lose momentum or have a patchy archive!

The Boohoo bus came to Newcastle on Monday which I found very exciting (mainly because it was a pink double decker), we got our nails painted for free and a goody bag with a magazine, nail file and waterproof poncho which is better than a kick in the teeth! They also had some clothes on board, I'm not sure whether or not you could actually purchase them but their versions of the Topshop gold buckle (can't remember their name) boots were gorgeous and affordable at £30!

Here is a photo of this incident:
I got photo bombed by the bus driver^^

So, what with there being 20% off for students in Newcastle I have gone a bit wild. I didn't mean to get anything really, bar maybe the coat and pink jumper, but the temptation was too much and there was some really nice stuff about! My plan is that I will now go on a spending ban (unlikely to be successful but I can only try). Anyway this probably looks more expensive than it was, altogether the shop only came to just over £100 which considering I got a coat and a Topshop jumper I'm not too upset with, and I'll be very happy when I figure out how much I have actually 'saved' (ha).

If you're a student who hasn't heard of student shopping night it is a good time to get some things you have been wanting for a while, or just buy tons of stuff you probably won't even like the next day like me, you can find out more info and if there is one near you here.
