Jeans: Topshop Jamie

Watch: DKNY

Coat: H&M
Lipstick: MAC 'Dress it up'
Earrings that you can't see very well: Vivienne Westwood

I absolutely love my Viv West earrings. I rarely wear them because I am scared of losing them (as I did with my other pair), but they are in my opinion the prettiest earrings I own, they are so small and subtle yet pretty, I love to match things such as nail colour, lip colour, necklace colour, sock colour, earring colour - basically I love to match colours - in my outfits. However these earrings are quite a specific colour so I haven't matched them exactly but I have worn a pink necklace and pink lipstick, you may think this is OCD but it does make me happy when such things match (slightly annoyed when the colours aren't exact, but overall happy). I can't wear this lipstick with more than one coat because I end up looking like a clown but it really is a pretty shade, and probably more suited to a blonde/pale person.

In other news I dyed my hair! It was really getting desperate, I have to dye it quite frequently because I only use temporary dyes. In the past I have used L'Oreal Casting, Garnier Herbashine and Superdrug's own. They vary in price but not in quality, in fact, I think I prefer Superdrug's own to L'Oreal because it is less likely to turn that typical 'Look my hair is dyed!' red shade. Herbashine gets my winning vote solely because it takes 10 mins as opposed to 20 and smells nice. My only real advice I have regarding hair dyes (I am most definitely not an expert and you probably don't want my advice anyway) is to choose a dye two shades lighter than the colour you want your hair to go, having black hair when you wanted light brown has been a common mistake of mine, and only slowly am I beginning to learn from my mistakes. DO NOT BE ENTICED BY A PRETTY PICTURE. Or in other words, don't judge a hair dye by it's cover.

CHRISTMAS GIFT IDEAS (MY FANTASY WISH LIST)

Top to bottom, left to right: White shoes: Jeffrey Campbell Scullys, Benefit Brow Zings, Cambridge Satchel via ASOS, Casio miniature digital watch, Topshop bag, Vogue (image via Vogue website), Glossy box, Company magazine ( image via their website), Jeffrey Campbell Mulder boot, Vivienne Westwood bag, Mac lipstick, American Apparel skater dress.

My aim was to compile a list of about 6 Christmas gift ideas, admittedly, I went a bit wild. Most of these things are quite expensive. I haven't really included any cheap options, I have basically compiled a list of things I personally want but wouldn't buy myself. It was fun to do anyway!

Anyway, I do think if your budget allows it, these are really good gift ideas for girls. A benefit product would always go down well with me, as would Mac lipsticks/magazine subscriptions and typical things like that. As for the JC's and Vivienne Westwood bag I think you have to really know if the person will like them. I have been researching beauty boxes but still don't know a lot about them so if you have had one let me know which one/if you think they are worth it!

OOTD: HOLOGRAPHIC MONKSHOES AND PASTEL FLUFFINESS

Jumper: Topshop
Jeans: Topshop (Jamie)
Shoes: Asos
Rings: H&M
Bag: Topshop

I apologise for the state of my hair. I did not realise the extent of my roots until I saw these photos, especially the one from behind. On the plus side I know what I look like from the back now, and I can rectify my terrible hair situation.

I am absolutely in love with these shoes. I have had them for a while but for some reason haven't included them in an outfit post yet. They are a strange holographic colour which would go with a black outfit as well as a pastel focussed one, as I have chosen to pair them with here! They are a little disappointing in that they REALLY, REALLY hurt my feet. Every time I wear them I get cuts on my right foot, yet this doesn't stop me for some probably retarded reason. I try to wear them on days when I'm not walking very far, which, I must admit, is limiting. They were £45 though so I am trying to get my moneys worth.

OOTD: SO MUCH LOVE FOR THIS TOP

Bag: Topshop
Jacket: H&M
Hat: Asos
Top: Topshop
Jeans: Topshop
Rings: H&M
Boots: Topshop

I always look so angry in blog photos, apologies, I can't pose very well. Finally got some photos in the light though! I really wish I had a better set up for blog photos but while I'm at uni it is really difficult. I love how vibrant these ones look though.

I still love this top, i think if you get something in a colour/pattern that you really really love you will rewear it a lot so it is definitely worth the money. bear in mind this is coming from a person who buys something new and subsequently forgets about all their other clothes.

OOTD AND BORN PRETTY STORE REVIEW/DISCOUNT

Top: Topshop
Jeggings: Topshop
Necklace: Miss Selfridge
Hat: Asos
Watch: c/o Born Pretty Store
Rings: H&M
Shoes: H&M
Coat: H&M

So as you can see I am wearing a new watch in these photo's. I was asked to do a review by www.bornprettystore.com and had choice of whatever on their site I wished to review, they have a new range of watches so I had a look at that and took a shine to this one. It caught my eye because I am a watch addict (Timex, Marc Jacobs, DKNY being a few in my collection!) but I don't have anything like this one. I liked that it was white with the cute little moustache and rose gold detail on the face, I have no white watches but am loving the colour at the moment.

I was concerned that because of its colour it might look cheap when it arrived, but as you can see from the photos below it looks perfect. It also came in a cute box! It is however a little bit large but my wrists are abnormally small so I'm sure on a normal person it would be fine, and you can always punch an extra hole in it as I plan to do.

As well as the watch I also chose to review this phone case (because how cute is it really?!). I have a Samsung Galaxy S3 which is a rather large phone to start with but this cover does make it look verging on ridiculous. I love it though so I'm not bothered. Apart from the ears looking a little phallic I've had few problems with this cover. The only technical one really is the volume button which is located under the side of stitch's face (i.e. the thickest part of the case). It is a little unreliable, but this is a risk I'm willing to take and I really can't see how that could be improved without compromising the appearance of the cover.

Overall I am very happy with these products and would definitely recommend visiting the site (which you can do by clicking here) because nothing is overpriced, in fact most things are a bargain! They come well packaged so you have nothing to lose. I think a lot of things on this site would be great Christmas presents, especially if you're on a budget because they look more expensive than they are.

Luckily for you I have a discount code, use SOPHIEC10 for 10% off. Also, if it is used 10 times there will be a giveaway so get your friends to use it too!

OOTD AND NEW LIPSTICK

Jumper: H&M
Jeggings: Topshop
Hat: Asos
Coat: H&M
Boots: Topshop
Bag: Topshop
Bracelet: Urban Outfitters
Rings: H&M
Necklaces: Topshop and Ebay/homemade

I think I wear too much black.
I really enjoy scary animal faces for some reason, but then so does Cara so they are clearly acceptable at the moment. This jumper was a bargain from H&M for £15!
I have also recently purchased this Revlon Black Cherry Lipstick which, while it doesn't meet the standards of MAC, is a perfect A/W shade. It seems to go patchy and therefore is difficult to apply well, however I am terrible at applying makeup in general so other people may not have this issue. I still love it solely for it's ideal shade! I got matching nail varnish too as you may notice, I think I have slight ocd.
